Continuing our previous relationship with Cartrefi Conwy and Creating Enterprise, Hughes:O’Hanlon Architects was appointed for the delivery of this significant new-build social housing development on the North Wales coast.
Comprising 128no dwellings ranging in size from one to five bedrooms, the project is heavily focussed on sustainability and community.
The construction - starting in early 2025 - will feature timber framing and a fabric-first response to reduce embodied carbon, also including solar photo-voltaic panels to the roofs, air source heat pumps and rainwater harvesting.
A large public open space provides a natural play area, football pitch, woodland area, wildflower meadow and wildlife area.
